In the nations
Open Sky is going into the nations to share the love of Jesus with people of all ages and backgrounds.Through cultural exchange engagements and master classes in various dance styles we are able to illuminate the Gospel through the language of movement. Performances and outreaches in festivals, orphanages, schools, and churches allow us to partner with local ministries to introduce unreached people to Jesus.
In the neighborhood
At Open Sky Clubhouse we host classes such as: art, reading, games, and dance. We believe in inviting kids into an experience with the love of Jesus in an atmosphere of fun, authenticity, honor, and kindness.
We also partner with various community outreaches, memory care homes, hospitals, schools, refugee care, safe houses, homeless shelters, prisons, and bridge building events.
In the church
We use movement tools to lead the Body of Christ in intimate worship experiences through small and large group workshops and retreats. We also use both choreographed and spontaneous prophetic dance within the context of corporate worship to unlock hearts and partner with the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus.
On the stage
Open Sky hosts their annual Backyard Series event in the DFW area where local dancers gather to perform and share works with the community. We have also performed in several regional dance festivals in both Houston and Kansas City such as: Project Dance, Modern Night at the Folly and other charitable events.
